1. Why Project Widsith?Well, my father was an English Professor – specializing in Medieval English – Chaucer, Beowulf and the liek! Widsith is the earliest Old English poem and relates the story of a wandering bard, visiting the Courts of Europe and various Tribes and Peoples – to entertain with stories, news and information.
Widsith means basically ‘Far Traveler’ and when my family wandered about Europe when I was small we travelled in a VW MicroBus camper – named – appropriately – Widsith!
